Back to Shakespeare

We walked into Shakespeare and Co at Souk Central Market on impulse, attracted by the inviting sidewalk seating, but were unfortunately forced indoors because we were not comfortable dining in a smoking zone. And that was fortunate!

Skakespeare is one of those places that has its own unique signature style – an interior that is quite unconventional – a old Victorian tea room style with an abundance of lacy, colorful cushions and furnishings, but certainly a great and interesting atmosphere.

Despite the busy hour, the service was quick and infinitely better than you would find at many more popular cafes in town.  Though limited, the menu offers an interesting choice and once on your table, done perfectly , and the plating excellent. pastries - tempting! interiors overlooking the pastry counter the pastry counter skakespeare copy tenderlion... the door to where...
